Samara Belmont

Samara's interest in ethics didn't appear until her late teenage years. Before then, it looked like her parents' rambunctious tendencies might rub off: she experimented with discord as her school's Queen Bee, and broke more than one heart. Around graduation, though, something shifted. She enrolled in a university program for Psychology and announced her intention to pursue, of all things, a career in law enforcement. As the oldest child of two notorious criminals, this raised some eyebrows, but the decision didn't affect her relationship with either mother.
After graduation, Samara received an offer for Police Captain of a precinct in Ravenwood. This was a relatively low-population and low-crime area, but she accepted anyway, figuring the role would look excellent on her resume and provide opportunities for advancement. The job turned out to be the least of her worries. It came with lodging, which happened to be the town's old jail, remodeled into something sort of habitable. Samara quickly realized the cemetery next door wasn't just for show - the whole place was haunted. Instead of fleeing, Samara doubled down, determined not to be bested by a mere building. Fires, ghosts, and creepy dolls wouldn't stop her.
During this time she met both Iris Ladipo and Manuel Aguilar. Always putting ethics first, Samara presented a proposal: one relationship, three marriages. Not long after the trio settled into their haunted home, Rhea and Damien joined the family.
